The Hunter is appropriate for beginning players who enjoy a challenge.

Description

Sneaking, they become one with the nature surrounding them and prepare their weapons quietly for assassinating the next enemy whose decease is virtually certain.

Although hunters can be calm supporting their fellows with healing herbs as well, they’re always bringing death by poisoning the weapons of their comrade-in-arms. Being well versed in herbal lore, they always know the right herb for each injury but also the proper poison to handle every kind of fiend.

From the rear with the bow, nimble with knives or solid as a rock carrying a huge pole arm, the hunters’ combat abilities are feared by their foes who can count themselves lucky not to get killed by the first shot. Even though they run a chance to escape, they will be caught up by grim reaper in the form of rangers. Their murderer will never be got to know…hunters are almost invisible, they are considered as the indiscernable death.

Talents

Master/Mistress of the Forest

Masters and Mistresses of the Forest have tested their skill in nature and continued to refine it. They are exceptionally skilled with poison and herbs and prefer to hunt with bows. Many a poacher has met their ends at the hands of these heroes in their attempts to steal from the lands.

Follower of Chasun

The Followers of Chasun has devoted their full attention to nature and has vowed to learn how to use the powers of nature in battle. Their trained eye warns them of danger and their companions can be sure that they will be warned in advance of natural disasters. This path of skilling is geared up to degrade enemies and to support the own group members.

Ranger

The Rangers have learned to exist in harmony with the inhabitants of the forest. They prefer to confront danger head on, but have also been known to ambush opponents. Staves and blades are the tools of their trade. This path is supposed to be choosen by melee hunters who probably ambush as well and rather do not support their group, at least less than other hunters.

The Supporter

This hunter supports his group by healing its members with herbs and poisoning their weapons what he does very early in order to be very effective. Additionally, he may degrade his enemies. The full support hunter has rather low HP but needs a lot of MP and a very good mana regenration. This can be reached by self-pushes with special herbs for example. So, he’s able to compensate some maluses by using his abilities.

The Hybrid

This hunter especially provides his group members with poison and, particularly when there's no alch(or even juggler), tries to heal wounded fellows by using herbs. Nevertheless, this hunter attacks his enemies himself, preferably with bows or knives but also with polearms. Of course, that diminishs his support abilities a bit though.

The Offensive

This hunter is geared to cause a lot of damage early in round by using his self-poisoned weapons, which may be pole arms, bows or knives. He has rather more HP and doesn't need that much MP, only for self-buffs.

The Supporter

What the tasks of a full support hunter are should be clear now, after reading the sentences above.

Advantages / Disadvantages

Disadvantages:
This hunter has of course heavy disadvantages concerning duels as he got low attack skill levels etc. So, the full support hunter shouldn't face enemies one-vs-one. Furthermore, it seems to pose a problem, that hunters get a malus of -30% to his MP which are definitely necessary for such a hunter. But at that point, the first advantage of the full support hunter may be recognized....

Advantages:
As the hunter is the only class being able to poison his mates' weapons with a primary skill and is with that also well versed in the dealing with herbs, using those abilities is the biggest advantage of a full support hunter. Consequently, the hunter can buff himself and his mates with a lot of herbs, for example in order to compensate his MP maluses. Of course, he also benefits from healing his mates and poisoning their weapons since this can be very effective what can make the group manage harder dungeons in less time what provides him with :ep:, :fame: and :gold:. Moreover, in case that he's really good, he won't hardly ever have problems finding a group since he's almost indispensable.
