bestiary - Ferin Weedfoot

Ferin Weedfoot is a halfling who comes from the general area near Herzburg, and has been living for a good half-century just south of the city of Urivor in a small forest. He has been planting his famous special-reserve harvests of black tobacco and refining the harvesting and planting techniques. He is a small gnarled figure with a potbelly and when he is not busy planting or smoking, he can be seen (and heard) eating. During dinner, he often begins to spin tall tales of his past adventures. Once he begins to talk, it is very difficult to get him to stop again. His favorite tale is of the time he cured Grunda, the maid of the mountains, from the curse of the greenpocks using only a broomstick, twinroot, and old chewed tobacco.
