As a gentle reminder to all players, being in the possession of multiple accounts is against the Terms and Conditions as set by Neise Business EOOD. Possessing more than one account and sharing gold and items between them sets an unwelcome precedence for other players, as owning two accounts allows for farming and trading of said gold and items that in turn make it easier for that player to propel themselves further than their peers. While multiple accounts under the same IP address can be an exception, please to not convince yourself that you can pass off your secondary account(s) as a relative's. A breech of the Terms and Conditions is of a serious magnitude, and in the interest of promoting fair game play between users, this particular breach may involve and even lead up to a permanent ban of both e-mail addresses used and both World of Dungeon accounts in question.

Hello, fellow adventurers!


It is finally that time. Over the course of the next several weeks, each and every class is going to go through their "rework" phase. This is where the team sits down, one class at a time, and discusses where the class is currently at and what should be done to make different aspects of the class more appealing. One of the things that has made World of Dungeons rather stale over the years is players running the same build over and over again. By no means is this the fault of our players; quite a few secondary "options" for a class simply aren't as viable as the same way everyone is playing. Paladins are a prime example. They are always a blocker class. Sometimes a Paladin will get brave enough to go full support or maybe even back up heals, but you very rarely ever see a damage Paladin.

Once each class has been discussed and an outline set for reworks, the team will immediately sit down with that class and work on pushing through the changes on said class all in one go. It is our aim to not have a class being worked on for longer than a single day, to prevent issues within groups and dungeons. Once the rework on a class is complete, all active heroes of that class will be flagged for an immediate free conversion. Being flagged for a free conversion allows you to keep both your class and your race, for those out there who prefer the race and class combination they already have. Now, once the changes are pushed through it will not interfere with already created heroes. This is what the free conversion is for. The new changes to a class will not show up until a hero conversion has been made. So do not worry about having to be on right as soon as the changes are done. There will not be any interruption of dungeons.

I will continue to update this thread as this progresses, and I suggest that you recheck this thread every couple of days. I will list which class is currently being looked at so players know where the team is at during this process, and then I will update this thread when that class is complete. It will look something like this:

---UPDATE--- The team is now reviewing the archer class. --UPDATE-- The changes to the archer class have been completed. Please allow a day for the free conversion to show up. It should show up immediately, but if it does not please wait a full day before bringing it to our attention.

It is the sincere desire of the development team to make this process as smooth and as painless as possible. To that end, I do ask that you bear with us and excuse the dust and debris we knock loose!

Hey all,

As part of the ongoing effort to clean up this game, Monday, March 2nd, I will be going through and deleting items that are non-unique. The item inventory is a complete mess, and the design team is making an effort to clean it up. Any non-unique items currently in player inventores WILL NOT BE DELETED, as thise items are already in the game. All I'm doing is deleting the item from the data base to prevent more items of that type from dropping. Keep in mind that if you fixed price sell or otherwise delete an effected item, that item will, in turn, be lost. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hey there, players.


I know its been a while since you've heard anything from us, but really, there hasn't been much to report on recently. However, I noticed something in the town crier that prompted me to make a short announcement concerning it.

That being said, one of the things we are currently working on are making group unique items that are actually... group unique. Items that are unique to the group are intended to be best-in-slot items-- meaning, in other words, the best gear in the game. Its why these items are flagged as one per group. However, there have been several instances where players will ignore group unique items in favor of hero unique items that are actually better. Naturally, this is not what should have been originally intended when group unique items were first created, so we're fixing that.

As I noted in the town crier, Shining Guard is one such group unique item. Before, this sword was decently good for Paladins and Knights, but other hero unique swords could often eclipse it by offering more useful stats. So Shining Guard was brought more in line with how we felt group unique items should be. And as I'm sure you've noticed, the weapon offers a bonus to a skill for a class not yet in the game. This is completely intentional, but not entirely. While we did want it to offer that skill bonus, we didn't realize at the time that it would tip players off about the new class itself. So no, its not a bug, nor a new item, but merely an old unique reworked a bit.

And to nip a few further questions before they spawn, you can expect other group unique items to receive tweaks to make them feel like the best gear you can obtain. Its an exhaustive process, but if you suddenly find some of your gear to be more effective, now you'll know why. Unfortunately, there are too many group unique items in the game to list all of the adjustments, so you'll just have to discover them for yourself. Until next time, players.
