The Dwarfs went separate ways years ago.
As the Hill Dwarfs decided to stay closer to the human settlements to become a part of the civilizations of the borderlands, the Mountain Dwarfs drew into the heart of the Kargash and kept to themselves.
In recent years, there have been more sightings of single mountain dwarfs in the borderlands. Why they have come out of their deep abode to socialize with the humans is unknown.
