Tips and hints

  • As a "jack of all trades, master of none" class, you may choose between the following weapon combinations:
    • One handed
      • Swords
      • Crushing Weapons
      • Crossbows
      • Shields
      • An offhand for extra stats/actions per round.
    • Two handed
      • Swords
      • Crushing Weapons
      • Polearms
      • Shields
        • With the usage of Shield Bash
      • Crossbows
        • Pavise crossbows provide extra protection but can't be used as shields for shield-related skills.
  • When wearing plate armor, make sure you choose Use Shield instead of Dodge Blow as the melee parry for your combat settings.
  • A Targeshian synergizes well with this class.
  • A light steel reinforced shoulder pack counts as a shield, meaning you can use a double-handed weapon while still being able to parry melee attacks with Use Shield.
