Skill - Use Staves

In a mages eyes: when in doubt, grab your stick. Too many times did ancient wizards fall to some foolish brute, or some other underestimated reason because they ran out of magical power, and had nothing left. This was all solved by some genius that finally decided to bring a stick along with him one day, got in a fight, almost killed the enemy, ran out of magic, bashed his enemy over the head with the stick and won.

Ever since then, no mage ever leaves home without their stick.
