Further Abbrevations

For some players it's usual to shorten the names of the hero classes or races, for example Barbarian by "Barb" or something. There are lots of different possibilities, but most become obvious after a short time of thinking. Moreover, some players shorten terms in a different way than explained above. In most cases, they uses the initials of the single words. Just think about, what who's saying that and in which situation, than you should be able to figure out what is meant, in most cases. Please be free to ask people to explain abbrevations if you didn't get the one or the other. Abbrevations may be useful and "cool" but to overdo things isn't really beneficial. That collection is not meant to be totally completed, but lists the most common and most ususal abbrevations as well as those which often are in demand. If you've got something new, refer to the "Suggestions for the game"-forum or to any wiki moderator.

imba - imbalanced (unusually strong)
Push/buff - means an improvement for the heros made by skills etc.
Debuff/Degradation - Skill which weakens a hero or an enemy.
