Overview

At the bottom of each forum you can find the Search button. With this you can look for topics or content that you specify. This will allow you to find information quickly without having to wait for someone else to provide it for you.

In order to perform a search, enter a few key words (at least 4 letters long each) that you wish to search for. Many topics should then be displayed containing these words.

Refined search

In order to perform a refined search you can use a few search options.

Keywords

Tip: The symbols + and - will only work if the first character in the search field is a + or -

OR

The search function automatically assumes that you mean OR with the keywords you provide, for example if you search for: WORDONE WORDTWO WORDTHREE, it will search for any posts containing WORDONE OR WORDTWO OR WORDTHREE.

AND

You can specify that the search find posts containing ALL of the keywords you specified, for example
Barbarian AND Mana AND Roundhouse
or
+Barbarian +Mana +Roundhouse
will then display only posts containing all three keywords.

NOT

You can also specify when to leave out posts by using the - (Minus) symbol before the word, for example Barbarian -Mana
This will show all posts containing the word Barbarians, but not containing the word Mana.

Specific Phrases

If you are looking for words in a specific order, you can set them in quotation marks: "Destroy orcs faster" will show all posts containing that exact phrase.
