Each skill by being carried out will either require Mana or contribute Mana and therefore contributes to the amount of basic costs in Mana.

To calculate your momentary costs in Mana you also have to put in account possible contributions of Mana gained by other skills.

Mana requirements are calculated as follows:

(90% of basic costs in Mana) + (10% for each level over 1 in skills)

Example:

The basic costs in Mana for the skill [[Fertigkeit_-_Vorbeugende_Heilung]] i.e. [[Preventive Healing]] amount to ~7~ Mana.

Your momentary level(all uplevellings included) is 12 (i.e. ~11~ Points over 1).
90% of 7 Mana --> 6,3
10% x 11 --> 110% = 7,7
6,3 + 7,7 = 14 Manakosten

So carrying out the skill requires 14 Manapoints.
